Having just got back from holidays where I won gold medal in the eating and drinking competition (go Ireland) I feel bloated but cardiovascularly fit. I believe that peer pressure can be as mucha positive force as a negative one depending on your personality so I have decided to blog my progress. I am not going to post a current photo (fat shaming wetc lol) But will as often as is practical post a progress report here. Starting this weekend I will weigh myself every couple of days and post it. When (not if ) The results start to appear I will report back and tell the methods I am using. Wish me luck

Thanks Laura. I weighed myself yesterday and shamefully hit 91.5 kilos. That will be 88 by next Saturday from there it will slow down but confident of hitting 82 by mid June. Happy enough with cardio fitness but tone leaves a lot to be desired so weatehr permitting I will be trying to train 3 times per day weekdays. Watch this space

Best of luck Sensei. I'm on a similar mission but not fortunate enough to be able to train 3 times a day. I'll be interested in the diet and nutrition aspect. Already down 2kg since starting at D15 and feeling great. Currently at 83.3kg so a while before I get back to my ideal fighting weight of 70 odd kg. I went through a couple of years in my 20s where the scale never went beyond 69.5 but I think training will bulk me up a bit so that figure may not be a realistic target.

The scales are only a guide. At 82 kilos I look a little weak but it will do my elderly knees good lol When the targt is reached I will to to keep it under 85 by doing more resistance work. As for nutrition it never was my strong point but carbs are being cut and protein being increased which is always good for overall weight maintenance and body tone. First progress report next Saturday

One week down and not much weight shifted but I feel fitter and am starting to tighten up around the midriff. More cardio being introduced all the time and a lot of general core conditioning alongside this.
