My name is down, would urge everyone to give this a shot! I've done it the last two years and can't overstate the difference it makes to your training and sparring attitude. If you have done any of Declan's classes you know he likes to give you a good workout and sweat-fest. With Team he ups it that little bit. So maybe you've been thinking I really want to push myself a bit more physically or you want to try out sparring in a safe environment? Then Team is for you I've learned so much from it, from conditioning training to having Declan analyse what we do well and what we need to do more of which I found a real help. All too often I used to jump into sparring without a plan or a combo and it hasn't worked in my favour. Just some of the things I have taken from the last team training camps: Watch your opponent, plan your combos, don't just hit them once, hit them a few times (or in Declan's words hit'em so often they'll think they're surrounded), the ref might not see the first or second shot, throw a flurry of kicks/shots, work the angles, be fit enough to last the round, if you're tired don't show it, condition your body. Just some of the stuff off the top of my head I have remembered from the past team training sessions. Hope this goes ahead and we have a long summer of hard training ahead of us
