Most of you will know I hurt my back again last week. I could hardly walk but I have always been stubborn and kept training using some exercises that most doctors would have me locked up for. Anyway I am trynig to incorporate more bodyweight resistance exercises into my own training as well as finally get familiar with kettlebells. So after week 1 I can definitely feel some development in my core and thighs. I have started incorporating some of the moves into my group classes as I like to keep things fresh. Will keep you posted.

End of my first full week of my new routine and feel as if my core is getting much stronger, which is good for people with back problems. My weight has settled back down to my pre-holiday lvel which is a result but more importantly in a week where I had a bit of a bug I trained every day and am now ready to let rip. I am a quiet almost insular person at times so any time I have anything bad going on in my head I can always rely on training to clear it out. This alone makes martial arts worth doing.

sensei try the ''good morning execise'' i mean get weight lifting bar in club with no weight and put it on your shoulders as if doing a squat,, then knees slightly bent and then you bend over almost level to your hips and back up.. its good for strenghting the lower back its a core exceise.. if not hold a weight to chest and bend over 4 sets x10 and no more
with barbell you add weight bit by bit
