Wowzer, reading all those reports are bringing tears to my eye . What can I say from start to finish it was the best Paddy's weekend ever. Not for Rob of course. Eddie has the footage ordered as you have to order the dvd, so Ed will have it in a week roughly. Paul Mc Dermot was videoing too but he might not have the whole thing. It was really interesting with the videoing and photography all weekend. Dave and Paul did a fantastic job and Dave cracked me up as he would be sneaky with getting some snaky pics on the sly hahahaha with the photographer just looking at him. Everytime I looked Dave was running back and forth on the stage hahah. The weigh in pics I have on my phone, very funny weigh in at Ian's house in his porch on a main road some sight that was. 84.6kg, Rob was straight to the shop for the lucozades. It was a lazy day on the Friday and eating and chilling was top of the list. Saturday the lads, Eddie Lawlor, Joe Doyle, Eddie Rooney, Graham Doolin, Ger Sutton arrived. They hung out with us for a bit and then most of us went up to Ian's gym to have a nose. He has a full cage and a shop there so the lads bought a bit of stuff. They also wanted to meet the Machine himself. Paul was getting an interview off Ian about Rob. After that it was pretty much waiting around for the event. We were all there from 5pm and first fight was at 6pm. Some lovely finishes with arm bars, rear naked chokes etc.. Fights were pretty much finishing very quick, before ya know it Rob was up. It was a great start to the fight with Rob dominating from start to finish. He landed some serious crosses and got some lovely takedowns. Then the Robbie D special came to finish it off guillotine choke. It was a wicked night and we got an Indian takeaway to celebrate Just to say Dave and Paul did a savage job and were great company too. The lads coming all the way over made it very special and are brill to be around . Big heads up to Stephen Large as it wasn't easy holding pads with everyone watching in the changing room and he did an amazing job. He never left Rob's side throughout. All in all it was a great weekend over an out
