Well done to those getting stuck in early in the new year. Have had a couple of classes so far and all have been well attended. Good mix of people from beginners to more experienced people and everyone seems to be enjoying it. We've done a bit of continous, points and grappling already and will adapt the classes depending on whats coming up.

First sparring class of the new year, I am determined to get stuck in every week where possible with the lovely green belt next on my list to achieve. Really great class and mix in levels of expertise. My blocks are already improving, I guess the fear of getting a wallop to the noggin will do that to one. Thanks for the great 'warm-up' 7pm class Stephen, the legs were nicely loose after it. For loose read dead.

Another good session last Thursday with more people jumping in for the first time. We haven't done any points yet so will introduce it over the coming weeks- probably start off with a few partner techniques before getting the rounds in.
See you on Thursday the more the merrier.

Yea the sparring class has been extremely busy since the start of the year and lets hope it can stay like that which it will! I can already see the benefits in people doing the sparring class as well as the group class so keep it up. Stephen is doing a really good job and I do see you all getting way better already. If your thinking of giving it a go the best time is now and don't leave it on the long finger people! Get stuck in and enjoy it! Happy Training

My first ever sparring class today. I was SO nervous, but it was amazing. The two Pauls, Arnaud, Shelly and Antonio were brilliant partners, not one of them cackled at me Got hit lots but it they let me get a couple of shots in too. Lesson learned - Keep your bl**dy guard up girl!
