I was away on holliers last week so didn't get a chance to officially write up on my blog about the kid's grade. On the 10Th May Rob and myself held a grade for some of the kid's in Dublin 15. There has been some new children join us since January so some of them have got the 1st belt. I am always so proud of them up there as I love teaching them every week, it is by far the best class ever to teach. Just seeing results of them improving makes me smile. So the yellow belts were :
Daniel Costello
Dean Conroy
Luke Griffin
Brian Popescu
Enrico Meloni
All of them did so well and some were even shocked when they opened their eyes and seeing the new belt. They all had good blocks and excellent power in punches and kicks. For small guy's they can bloody hit hard. I do have photos which I will put up tomorrow. Then there was one orange belt :
Jack Kinsella
This little man has been training with me for about 3 years now and he just loves kicks, all he wants is to learn purple belt kicks. He trained so hard for his orange belt and then just before his grade poor Jack ended up in Temple Street with his asthma. No one could stop this fella from doing his grade. He pulled it off and did a super orange belt. I know I'm going on and on about them but seriously some of the adults struggle with memorization and co ordination. Also these guy's are no different from the adults they do a full yellow and orange belt and these guy's are 6yr olds to 8yr olds. So for them to pull it off is such a happy achievement. I'm a very proud sensei me little munchkins I also got a lovely card and present form Enrico yesterday and thank you.
