Battle of the Dojos is back! and it's the very best opportunity to gain a bit of competitive experience in the comfort of your own club. Win, lose or draw, it's only a bit of craic and anyone with even the slightest interest in sparring should definitely give this a go. From what I've heard so far, a few of the instructors are going to compete against each other too. There's points and continuous sections which will be sectioned off fairly (age, height, grade, gender). There's a reduction if you register and pay early and this will help us to assess the numbers to order the medals. It's always a great day at the Dojo and there's very little waiting around time unlike other competitions. The refereeing is unbiased and if you do lose, at least it's against a fellow club member As I said, this is definitely about the taking part more than the winning and it'll definitely help set you up if you are looking to enter outside competitions www.martialartsinc.com/contents/events/2015/BOTD15.pdf
