It's been a little while since I was on blog, so just letting all you peeps out there know , what the hell I'm up to. So here it is.
Since Xmas alot of people have been "battling the bulge", well guess what. I'm one of those people. Every girl likes to look her best and I had a great Xmas , so now I'm finally kicking ass and want to get back into it. Alot of people find diets a fad but what has always worked for me is Weight Watchers. I went along and got started and to be honest I was shocked..... 12st 6lbs. To alot of people don't say "oh Louise you were never that size" cause that irratates me. I was. So I have started Weight Watchers and when I tried the first week I put on 1 and 1/2 lb, then down 2 lb and finally last week 3lb gone. It's coming off slow and thats what I want. Doing lots and lots of cardio. No weights as I want to be a skinny girl. I have a wedding dress to fit into. Yes getting married in 2011 so have to look my best.
I hope to loose more this week. But you just can't sit on your ass and do nothing. I'm motivated and the other instructors are helping me alot. Training hard . So will let you know more about weight this Wednesday. I havent lost any inches yet as I'm doing that too.
On a roll.

Louise is doing well with the running and did an 8k run over the weekend to get ready for the 10k. I also saw her doing bag work at d7 yesterday. Fair play Louise - keep it up. Plus this is day one of her new 30 day diet - only 29 days left ha ha Great to hear from you Zoe and you should drop into us at D7 on a Saturday or Sunday if you can't make Monday to Friday. It would be great to see you soon.

Hi Zoe, Really good to hear from you, we miss all the crew from Blackrock, although some of the crew are training hard. It would be good to see you down in D7. Thanks for your kind wishes too, getting close now. Yes on my 30 day strict diet, kind of gave up on the weight watchers, was to slow coming off. So day one went well, so far so good. Training really hard these days for the Marathon. Did an 8km on Monday and another 6km yesterday. Will keep ya all posted

Hello everyone, marathon is creeping up on us all fast. Still slogging up and down Grangegorman hill hahahaha. On Thursday last I had an 8km run, which I got my best record time ever (60mins) very good for me. !!! When I came back I was shattered but Tamu (boxing coach) was down with Rob in the Dojo, and they were all stuck into a heavy training session. I got persuaded to jump in, which I did. Then after all that Tamu decided he wanted to do pad work. So I was at least an hour of HEAVY pad work. In the end Rob had to come down and save me, he said he didn't think he was going to stop. Either did I. Dying.com was not the word. I really enjoyed it but was tough. Sore abs on Friday. Then yesterday (Monday) I was teaching the 1pm class, after I went on my 6km run. Tamu showed up and decided to come along for the run. I got dragged up the hill again, this time doing sprints every 100 metres. Sore.com , hahahaha. Then when I came back in, Tamu decided ok Lou let's do some pads. I nearly cried hahaha. By the way Tamu's pad rounds go on for 15 / 20 mins so 3 to 4 rounds is plenty hahaha. Again I know he is helping me and I get on really well with him but by golly he murders ya. Later that evening I decided I would jump in to Declan's cardio kickboxing, now that was tough too. Really enjoyed it as it was a longtime since I di one of them. What I loved is sweat sweat and more sweat. Really loved the class Declan. Tough.com but worth every minute of it. So all in all training is going good for moi.
