Thanks to the unexpected closure of D15 today I did my first road work since I trained with Trim ABC 30 years ago.
Sooo, it looks like non dojo days will include a lunchtime run from today onwards. Every cloud and all that... ;-)

I do road work (or park in my case ) as often as I can as extra cardio. I vary between 5 and ten kilometres and don't give a d**n about teh speed as when I go fast it wrecks my knees. Jogging with the right music or with my doggies is a real head clearer. Keep it up dude.

It's a pity my dog can't run And my biggest problem is slowing down to a steady, reasonable pace.

Speaking of road works! The luas lines from the Point - Abbey Street will be closed for the next couple of months due to them connecting the red and green lines, so if anyone is coming from Connolly Station make sure to give yourself that extra 15 mins to walk up, boom!

Feckin app. Ended up doing 5km today instead of 4, and a new PB because the music kept me at a steady pace. Ooorah!
