No real explanation needed here I guess ;D Also did you ever find that when a certain song comes on that it makes you train that bit harder? Personally I use to find that when the Foo Fighters, "All my Life" came on. The bag use to get an extra thumping ... Must have been the drums

No need to tell ya's. I am anyway. DANCE MUSIC :)all the way. Some mellow stuff when warming up and stretching off. Some tracks really get ya pumpin the bag or movin faster, for me a track might remind me of something good or bad so yeah defo, i will get stuck in more and dig deep. MOVE FORWARD! DOP LION always gets me going along with some oldskool junglistic breakbeats. HARD-2-DA-CORE.

For me it depends on the type of training for class and cardio I like high pace dance like Lisa Lashes and Scooter for killing myself in my own workouts it's gotta a be mashem and bashem heavy metal like Rammstein or Metallica lol I never claimed to be normal

It's gotta be Daft Punk for me. Heavy hard beats. Especially their live albums. Then sometimes some good hip hop too. Fiddy and the like.

www.ilovetechno.be/2007/main.asp?competition=Wait for the music on this site to kick in. Also: www.ilovetechno.be/2007/main.asp?competition=1 of the DJs looks a bit like Bruke Lee too! Great thing about live dance/techno sets is they last AGES, so you don't have to put in the effort for a massive playlist or keep changing songs. I agree with Jamie too, Daft Punk live sets are good. Anything works as long as it makes me want to rock out with my... sock.. out.

Alice In Chains!! Best band of all time....Them Bones is the perfect song for fast cardio training, and "Rooster" when your arms turn to rubber the chorus of this song will give you renewed energy I have to say the dance music in the dojo just annoys me so I use that as a reference point for my anger problems ;p Mix it up with some Metal lads!

At home... a bit of Metallica, Offspring and Limp Bizkit (old habits die hard), Godsmack, Stone Sour, you get the idea. But even saying this, I don't think you realize the power of influence the dojo has, when it comes to music to train to (at least in MY modest opinion ). My brain now associates dance music to training... it is a weird feeling watching MTV at home ... "Alex Gaudino ft. Crystal Waters - Destination Unknown" coming on and all I do is think of the 20 burpees Louise or Kiefer expected me to do :x

ha ha yep I was in a cafe the other day and for some weird reason they were playing oldskool Scooter. I tried to resist but I still jumped onto the table and had to do 10 roundhouse kicks much to the horror of the customers. They really fell out with me when I asked them to 'crank it up'!

I found a solution- Go places with dancefloors. People just think you're a bad dancer rather than a crazed psycho!

Limp Bizkit - Break stuff has to be one of the best songs to listen to just before training especially sparring but i suppose this could add a bit too much aggression for club sparring! ha! But ye i do agree with the likes of scooter, culture beat, 2 unlimited etc for cardio

Not exactly best music to train to but i do remember one class where the music was dance versions of movie themes. The dancey Halloween soundtrack was pretty funky, and the Jurassic Park one was....interesting
