Hi All, I got a tip from a buddy of mine as to how to increase the intensity of a weight training session and overcome a training plateau where you maybe stuck on a certain weight for a certain period. It works as follows. For example say you do a set of bench presses with a weight where you fail at 3 reps. Your goal is to get 10 reps but you have been stuck at 3 for a while and feel demotivated. Do the 3 reps to fail and rest 20 seconds and rep out again, rest 20 seconds again and then do as many reps. Try and keep it within the 3 set period but reaching that 10 rep goal seems more achievable while also giving you a very intense workout. I am going to give it a shot and will let you know how I get on. Cheers Phillip
