Pro sparring is always tough but it went well. I had 4 different opponents and I also got in a round of grappling. Later that day we had no-gi grappling at the Gracie Barra BJJ club.
Saturday was drilling and small gloves grappling with Tom and Denis Kang. Straight after that we did Bikram Yoga again - it was so hot (more than normal) it felt like cutting weight before a fight. 'Goldie' was in the class and talked with us in the dressing room. Know him? Think he was in the film 'Snatch' - a UK rapper/musician and now a DJ.
Today is just about trying to rest up for the week ahead. More of the same schedule this week I think. I got a lot out of last week so I'll be happy to be heading home at the end of this week.
Congrats to all the successful graders. Also, the medals look cool so congrats to everyone who got them for completing Sparring Challenge Week.

Monday was small gloves sparring - always rough, more Bikram yoga and then bjj. From one to the next. Tuesday we had boxing, then wrestling drills and in the evening we went for a run. I came over here in pretty good shape but I've still managed to lose a few more pounds - I'm mainly trying to maintain my weight now. There's a jacuzzi at the house but I don't want to give you the impression that I'm dossing over here Attachments:

Wednesday was wrestling and Yoga. Yesterday was strength and conditioning with Jon Chaimberg. Today was pro sparring which went well. I got in 4 rounds with totally different opponents. I had Tom Watson for my last round. Great experience. Later in the afternoon I went to the BJJ club for some no gi grappling. A couple of sweeps were covered and then a few rounds of grappling. I did good. So, that's me finished here. I leave in the morning and I lose a day on the return. I can never sleep on planes so I'm always wrecked when I get back. I've got Sunday to recover and then it's over to Ian 'The Machine' Freeman on Monday morning. Have a good weekend everyone.

No rest for the wicked? Man you must have been baaaaad (in a different way lol) in a former life . I texted Robert to welcome him back only to receive the reply that he was already in the U.K. for more training. It will surely pay off.
