Goodluck with it Rob. Real shame that only the main event is going out live (especially because it's such a predictable one!), hopefully they won't wait too long to broadcast the rest, I'm sure it'll be a great night.

Well Kiefer, Terence and myself headed to Birmingham this morning. It was a very early start. Rob was sleeping till about 11 am. He was very relaxed and just waiting to weigh in , he headed to the gym to pre weigh in and he was on target. The official weigh in was at 3pm today and The Man weighed in at 184.6lbs . Now as you know Rob likes to act the jack ass and he had a lovely pair of boxers on. Yes he weighed in in bright yellow spongebob square pants boxers. He was the first to weigh in and he got the crowd going. His opponent didn't make weight so he had an hour to make it but recieved information that he did make the weight. So Rob is good to go. Tom Watson weighed in on target but Alex Reid didn't show up , he got stuck in traffic. Rob, Kiefer, Terence, Tom, Eric and myself just headed off to fill the fighters up and let's just say, they're eating rings around them hahahahahahahah. Heading for more grub later but will keep you all posted on everything.

Big well done to Robert for winning on the weekend in the biggest mma show in the UK - BAMMA, as always he done brilliant and racked up another win! The weigh ins for the fight were cool, Rob had put on Spongebob boxers and i think his opponent was freaked by it, he weighed in bang on his weight and then it was on to the staredown for pictures, personaly i think the fight was won there and then - Rob has a mean stare and didn't take his eyes off his opponent and his opponent did not wanna even look at him!! After weigh ins we all went for food and lots of food and even more food and then more food!!!!haha On saturday we went to the NIA for a medical and the organisers were showing us around the place, the place was huge and i think they sold over 5000 tickets!! We ended up staying in the NIA after medicals because Rob was the first fight of the night.. They were running late with things so we didn't think Rob would be fighting at 5, but of course we were wrong! Rob got his hands wrapped up by Eric and myself and Rob did some pummling and shadow sparring, it was walk through stuff!! A while later they called Rob out and it was showtime! Rob's opponent was called out first and then it was on to Rob , the song was cool - www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-64CaD8GXwThe crowds reaction was brilliant and everybody was cheering Rob on. Round 1 - started off with some moving around and Rob's opponent shot in for a takedown immediatly, Rob was quick to defend and had double underhooks straight away, his opponent was trying to out strenght Rob but it wasn't happening, Rob then reversed from off the cage and started planting some knees to the body, Rob had good positioning and was controlling his opponent very well, Rob landed a couple more knees and after the 3rd one his opponent really felt it he then dropped his head from being winded Rob then locked on a figure 4 guillotine and cranked it on, so much so that his opponent was lifted off the floor.. Its was a great win and it was all over in 1.02 mins - Crazy!! What a way to start the show.. The whole weekend was great, it was great to be a part of such a big show and see first hand what its like! All your hard training this year has paid off Rob and you done MAI proud once again - well done!
