Two of MAI head instructors compete at the US open Florida.
Robert Devane and Louise Quinn had an early start friday morning to weigh in for the Continuous section. Both fighters had really hard fights with Louise taking forth place after a close decision. Robert fought very hard to the final and took home the GOLD. Both fighters finished and went back to the hotel to rest for day two. Yet again they had a early start to weigh in for the points section with both fighters fighting hard to the semi finals, Louise finished third with one point in it. Robert finished third in his section with one point in it. Both days and both sections where really competitive and really high standard. As well as some bad ref calls... as usual. Both fighters are doing well and enjoying the nice things Florida have to offer.. Well done to both fighters. Some achievment to get off a plane thursday evening and settle the nerves for friday morning, and to do it all again saturday morning.
