Ok looking for great fight scenes used in the movies.
Gotta say a personal fave is one from a Korean flick called Oldboy. Its basically a dozen attackers against one guy armed with... a hammer!
Its just so well done. (Defo not one for the under 18s!)
What you guys reckon?

I like the one from Face off at the end. It's not very Martial Artsy but it's the most realistic one in a big action film like that, as opposed to Die Hard or something. Also he harpoons the guy. How many Harpoon defence classes are there around the place?

A few good one's spring to mind. Saw a great Jackie chan V's Benny "The Jet" scene the other day. Proper old school, and hard to think of any better.
The 2 women scrapping it out in Crouching Tiger was very cool, and some of the Bourne Fights were very well done too. Can't beat the old school though.

So many to name, always liked the Bruce lee flicks, the fight scenes in the big boss are cool,going from floor to floor with different styles. Defo in the top 10.

Yeah in ong back the one where he fights the REALLY massive dude and just knocks him out with a flying jumping crazy kick. That's good. Really short, but good.

Eh, pretty much all of Warrior King, there's one great scene where Tony Jaa fights some capoeira guy all slow motion-y.....really well done.
Speaking of slow motion.........300!!! It's all one glorious fight scene.

I dunno about 300, there was loads of action, but it was kind of tiring.. the same thing for the whole movie. For that kind of fight, the one in Troy where Brad Pitt(I know, bear with me), as Achilles, fights the huge bloke is good, and when his brother (I think it's Aeschylius or something mad like that) is sword fighting his way into a temple, that's whopper. But 300 is just loads of slow motion, and it all looks like a cartoon...

Right back to what this thread is about. We can start a football thread later :-) This is one of my fav fight scenes from a classic flick. Stephen Chow (sing) fighting the axe gang in kung fu hussle, is quite a good scene, funny film too.
Also bruce lee and chuck norris in way of the dragon. great fight scenes.

Sooo many to choose from, that jakie chan fight against benny the jet archidez in...meals on wheals...i think, was pretty cool, jakie does a jump knee under the jets jaw and sends him flying back!! One of my favorite growing up was samo hung in spooky encounters of the strange kind. His opponent gets possessed by various animals and fights in those styles, really freaky scene but max respect to samo. Also, No Retreat No Surrender II where cynthia rothrock gets beat up is legend...she has got to be the most annoying martial artist on the planet! She deserved every bit of that hoof kick to the face
