At last I am happy to report that for the first time since early November I have neither injury nor sickness, having suffered a torn hamstring in early November then catching the most annoying long lasting flu. So what now? My intention is to throw myself into my training on a phased basis over the coming weeks. Team MAI restarts on 4th March so all the drills and sparring will help get me in shape but also the padwork sessions, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6pm with Robert (when he returns , Eddie, Joe, Arnie, Valentine and last but not least Kevin (only 12 years old but getting really good at holding and hitting pads). I also hope to find time for more resistance training using the bungie cord. I'll keep you posted. Declan
