DAY 12: Sunday, a day of rest. Caught up on emails. Read. Got a tiny bit of colour by the pool. It's very warm over here and it sucks to have to grapple when you're sun burnt! Laundry and food shopping set me up for the coming week. My weight is pretty good at the moment so had a half a cheat meal (not a full cheat). Went to a large book shop and browsed around. Then Aaron, another fighter from the gym called Ike and myself went to the cinema. It was only 2 dollars in! What did us 3 macho men watch? Bridesmaids! It wasn't bad So, that was my Sunday. Batteries recharged and ready for the coming weeks training.

Haha that sounds deadly i'd say you all got a funny look going into the cinema asking for 3 tickes to bridesmaids HA! The training sounds like it's really going to plan for ya and really benificial of course. Keep up the hard work Druid can't wait to hear about more of the training

Great to hear it's all going well for you over there Rob, gotta say Bikram yoga scares the hell out of me (maybe even more than the sparring, that kind of heat shows no mercy!)
Very tough to leave your life and home many miles away for an extended period but at the level you fight at it sadly comes with the job but you have the right mentality to get the most out of it and everyone back here supports you. Can't speak for D15 but John's running a tight ship in Dublin 7 anyway, so it should still be here when you get back!

DAY 13: Staright into small gloves sparring. We all did about 6 rounds. Brian Stann took the session. Then after that I had padwork. I felt fitter which is a good sign. After a couple of hours it was back to the gym to do a wrestling session taught by wrestling coach Izzy: izzystylewrestling.com/coaches.htmlIt was a very good session and he had some good drills and he's a good coach. So, that's it. I put in a good day to start the week. Just 4 more days left and I'm determined to finish strong.

DAY 14:
Big gloves sparring at 9.30am. It was busy today at the gym. A lot of people have fights coming up so everyone got stuck in. After the warm up sparring I got in 4 good rounds against 4 different fighters including heavyweight UFC fighter Travis Browne.
Padwork at 11.30am and Mike Valle put me through my paces.
Strength and conditioning at 5pm.
3 days left. I'm looking forward to seeing the difference in altitude when I get back. The last time I returned from here I could feel the difference and I was a lot fitter when I got home.

DAY 15:
9.30am session of Izzy Style wrestling. The reason I keep writing 9.30am is because it's so d**n early to be getting stuck in! This was a great session. Izzy is a great wrestling coach. He and quite a few others here simply call me 'Irish'. 'Come on Irish'. 'Right on Irish'. 'Good job Irish'. It's funny.
Bikram yoga in the evening. I think I lost loads of weight in this session alone! I think that's the last of that I'm doing for a while.
2 more training days left. I leave Saturday and get into Dublin Sunday morning. I can never sleep on planes so I will be jetlagged to bits. I'll stay at the airport to meet Tom because he arrives in a couple of hours after me and then we head to D7 for the seminar. It's going to be a good one.

It's not easy training and tryining to get pics with everyone but I know you all want to see more pics so here you go. They were taken from my phone so a couple of them are a bit blurred. You should be able to recognise some people though. This is Shawn Jordan (UFC fighter), Lang Williamson, Moi and Carlos Condit (UFC fighter). Attachments:
